CAMP COMFORT: THE STORY

Camp Comfort is a band based in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Their music is defined by high-energy and entertaining live shows. While they are defined as Reggae/Rock, their myriad of influences create a sound that is unique and refreshing in the genre. Lead singer and writer Nevada Ellison uses his storytelling writing style to create lyrical experiences that are personal and insightful. Johnny Hastings showcases his electric guitar chops with tasty rhythms and blazing blues rock solos. Joel Adams employs his funk and jazz influences to create basslines that get the booties on the dance floor, and Zac Conger provides the punk and metal-influenced reggae drum beats to keep it all together. Last but definitely not least, Boogie Chafe, AKA The Vanilla Gorilla, AKA Kevin Bradt uses his driving acoustic guitar rhythms, powerful vocals, and magnetic charisma to make everyone feel welcome and loved.

The 2018 album Day One Dream is available everywhere you listen to music, and the band is in the process of releasing new singles on all streaming services in 2023.
